Maaser

Maaser

What is Maaser?

Maaser, The first tithe (Hebrew: ma'aser rishon מעשר ראשון) is a positive commandment in the Torah requiring the giving of a portion of agricultural produce, or nowadays of one´s income.

Give just as much as  your heart cheerfully wants to give.

Where does your maaser go?

The Maaser goes to Adonai Ha´Aretz Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Amity, & its headquarter, The Bnei Baruch Kabbalah L´Am Association in Petah Tikva, Israel, for its respective costs for operations, maintenance and dessimination of The Wisdom of Kabbalah world wide. The Non-profit Associations thank you very much for your generosity.

MAASER

Tithing (Maaser) belongs to the Cohens (Priests). The Cohen is that part of egoism that we cannot use correctly and therefore should abandon.

THE LAW OF MAASER

No matter how much a person tries, Malchut, the tenth Sefira, becomes corrected only when a person gives away to others one tenth of what belongs to him.

Maaser is a law of nature, and no one can remove it. You are not paying anyone; you are merely deducting the part of you that is impossible to correct and giving it to the world’s correction through a different method. You are realizing your own Maaser for disseminating Kabbalah around you.

HOW MUCH IS MAASER

ORIGINALLY:

Maaser is 10% of one’s net income, after tax deduction

BUT HERE IN OUR AMITY:

We do allow 1% of Gross income (before taxes)
